Question #1. Where exactly is the hunting ranch?


Answer: It's 101 miles west of Del Rio off highway 90. The actual hunt is in Terrell County
13 miles south of the town Dryden.

Question #2. What's the weather like and what clothes should I bring?


Answer: It can be as hot as 70 during the day and as low as 30 at night. It starts cooling
off fast once sun goes down!

Question #3. What do I do with the game I shoot?


Answer: There are no facilities on the ranch. If you want to quarter it up please bring
coolers and ice to put your deer in. Or can take to Sanderson to a locker.

Question #4. What lodging is available at the Big Bend hunting ranch?


Answer: We have a small bunkhouse with bunkbeds and electric heaters.
(Please bring sleeping bags & pillows!) It's nothing fancy.

Question #5. How do we get around on the ranch?


Answer: Transporation on ranch is provided by you. It's 23 miles to make a complete
circle of the feeders so there isnt any way we can put everyone out and
pick them up.

Question #6. What kind of electric power do you have on the ranch?


Answer: There is no electricity. Everything is run by generators so don't bring anything
other than your cell phone to charge because the generators only produce
enough electricity for the camp.

Question #7. What do we do for food?


Answer: We have a few snacks in the morning with coffee. We then return at 10 am
to have a big breakfast of eggs, biscuits & gravy, sausage, bacon, peanut
butter, syrup and more coffee.

Question #8. How about for supper?


Answer: Supper is served one hour after dark. We prepare fajaitias, pork chops and brisket
with all the trimmings. You won't go hungry - we provide you with big helpings!

Question #9. What do you have for drinks?


Answer: Bring the type of drinks you wish to drink. We don't have or furnish
drinks - only coffee (or as it's sometimes called - cowboy plasma).

Question #10. How about booking a guide for the hunt?


Answer: There will be 2-3 men on the ranch who will help any way we can but
it is not a guided hunt. Again, we will help in any way you need assistance.

Question #11. Can I sight in my gun when I get there?


Answer: There is no target range - its all hunting area. Please bring your gun with you
ready to hunt. If you need to shoot a round or two we can arrange that but it's a
hunt - not a target range.

Question #12. Where on the ranch can I hunt?


Answer: We let you look around and then decide where you want to hunt. Most times it
depends on your group size or the type of your transportation.

Question #13. What can I bring to get around with?


Answer: Four wheelers, mules and rangers are all welcome. But remember - everything
here sticks, pricks, or stings (its hard on tires )!

Question #14. What can I shoot when I'm hunting?


Answer: Everything has to be a 6 point or better. The amount of game you harvest is to be
discussed before you book your hunt.
